Weekly Update: 28 Weeks
How far along?
28 weeks, 3 days
Baby Size:
The size of an eggplant!
Total weight gain:
19lbs with no weight gain between my last two appointments.
I'm thinking that's a good thing...
Maternity clothes?
Yep but still wearing some pre maternity clothes that are likely stretched out now and
won't fit right later. Sigh.
Stretch marks?
None yet and I really hope it stays that way!
Sleep:
Here lately I seem to wake up to pee and then can't go back to sleep.
That really sucks, especially since my toddler sleeps all night. I'd love to sleep all night too!
Best moment this week:
Well, it definitely wasn't having to get a shot today. Any rH negative mommas out there?
I am one of them and let me just say that shot is AWFUL. It's also great that I passed my glucose test. HOLLA.
Miss Anything?
At the moment I miss not having a sharp pain in my ass from that shot.
Movement:
Oh yes....I still swear there may be twins in there.
Food cravings:
Boiled crawfish, sweets, watermelon, milk shakes currently and Popeyes fried chicken.
Sigh for having awfully unhealthy food cravings.
Anything making you queasy or sick:
You'd think by now that I'd know I can't drink a ton of water
with my meals, or else I get sick. Well let's just say I forgot that yesterday during lunch and I don't know about you,
but when I throw up while pregnant I pee my pants. I mean literally, I had to change pants.
Gender:
Sweet little girl!!!!
Symptoms:
I peed my pants. For real. And my back is on fire 90% of the time.
What's different this go around?
I don't just pee my pants a little when I throw up, I pee them for real.
Yes, I'm trying to make you chuckle here but sadly it's the truth.
Belly Button in or out?
Almost out, but hasn't changed much in the last several weeks.
Wedding rings on or off?
On
Mood:
Happy, anxious and tired.
Nursery?
Just missing our mobile that I've yet to order.
And I need to finish washing newborn clothes and organizing drawers.
Looking forward to:
Getting the feeling back in my ass and not peeing my pants the rest of the pregnancy.
Ha, I bet you I will.
No matter how many times I pee my pants, no matter how much I hate needles and no matter how tired I am, I love
this little girl so much already and dream every day of meeting her. Now that I know just how amazing motherhood is, I can only dream about how much better it's about to get because there's going to be even more love, more kisses and cuddles
and more sweetness that my heart can dream.
Let's get there already.
out of focus, but I like it!
