Chicken Broccoli Braid Recipe
I'd like to first note that this is not an original recipe of mine and is in fact a Pampered Chef recipe and I am re-featuring it today to add new, better images.
This is one of those easy, peasy meals that is also super yummy. It is best when it is fresh out of the oven and makes for a great party meal. I'll cut to the details below...
2 packages of crescent rolls
2 cooked chicken breasts
1.5 cups coarsely chopped broccoli
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or the whole bag like I use)
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper and green bell pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup of mayo
2 garlic cloves pressed
Roll out crescent rolls and press the seams together. On each side of it make 6-7 slits about 1/4 from the edge with the knife. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl and place it down the center of the pressed crescent rolls. Fold up one end of rolls and then pick up one strip where you made your cut, twist and fold over chicken and broccoli mixture. Do this (braid) until you reach the other end and then fold up that end to seal the deal.
I usually brush some melted butter on mine and then bake for about 18-20m at 375 degrees. P.S. Mine never
really
looks like a braid.
Waaaaalaaaa.
You have a quick and easy meal!
I love Pampered Chefs recipes because they are quick, easy and yummy! This takes me no time to make and is something that my family loves.
Are you a Pampered Chef fan?
I am guilty of owning way tooooo much of their stuff!
