4 Things I Want to Do...
Here is a fun post for this weekend. There have been a lot of things on my mind that I really want to consider and look into doing in the future. A few of these I can't do until we buy our home (we currently rent) and a few of them will probably take some serious convincing my husband.
Look for more detailed posts on several of these topics. But for now, just enjoy my ideas of things that I'd love to and want to do.
1. Grow a Garden.
I can't do this until we buy our own home, but I love the idea of growing my own fruits and veggies. While I highly doubt it'll be a mini farmer's market, I'd love to have a handful of the staples so we can have our own organic food and so I can involve my kids in the process.
2. Create a School Station.
I have been extremely inspired by one of my favorite bloggers,
, with all of the toddler learning activities that she does. She has some wonderful ideas that she shares for educational activities to do with your children. My goal is to start a little school session each day, maybe twenty minutes long, where we sit and work on things. Obviously as Little Bug gets older, we'd increase that time. To be honest I have thought a lot about homeschooling lately, but we'll just save that for another day. However, I'd love for her to have a little craft table to color on and work on projects.
3. Become a minimalist.
So this is much easier said than done. I'd love to really simplify our life and get rid of the junk we don't need. I don't think we have a lot of junk, it's just that we have a small home. Either way, I'm sure we can survive on much less.
3. De-clutter our "junk" room.
Doesn't everyone want to do this?
We have a spare room that holds all of hubby's clothes in the closet, our desk, our bookshelf full of a ton of books and a bunch of other bologna. I'd love to really utilize the room. While I don't think a play room is really something that I want, a play room/office for me would be very nice!
Look for post {hopefully} on me trying to complete these {one day}.
