Mommy Has a Green Side Linkup {Homemade Cleaners}
So last week I went ahead and finally made my homemade cleaners that I wanted to make. I kept putting it off because I thought it would be difficult and um it was easier than buying the stuff to make it (kinda like I thought cloth diapers would be difficult).
I only made a few things since I couldn't find many of the other things that I needed to make some other basic cleaners. I made what I really wanted though-- a natural disinfectant. Using all natural things and using The Honest Company cleaners left me in a bind when it came to disinfecting. I didn't have anything to disinfect!
So guess what? I made some. Or should I say that I poured some into a bottle?!?
Homemade disinfectant: Pour 3% Hydrogen Peroxide in one spray bottle and white vinegar into another spray bottle. Spray both onto the surface wipe and then rinse with water. That's IT. Sounds too good to be true right? Well here is something for you:
I'm so excited to have a non-toxic, effective disinfectant that cost me just a few bucks to make. I also made a spray bottle of one cup vinegar and one cup water with a spritz of lemon juice to use as an all purpose cleaner (although I still use The Honest Company one a lot because I love it too).
What's your favorite homemade cleaner recipe?
What have you done to live a little more green this week?
