It's Been Three Years
Today is a special day because today is the day that marks
three years of marriage to the most amazing man I know.
It's been three years of lazy weekends, long work hours,
three years of marriage to the most amazing man I know.
It's been three years of lazy weekends, long work hours,
many, many dinner dates and movies,
and three years of alarms and snoring waking each other up.
It's been three years of staying up late renting movies off the box,
or renting movies from the Red Box,
and it's been three years of always returning the movie back late.
It's been three years of baking cookies just to have
them all eaten within ten minutes of them coming out of the oven,
and it's been three years of fighting over stashes of chocolate.
It's been three years of travels to everywhere from New York to California,
some camping and water tubing and lots of sightseeing,
and it's been three years of lots of new restaurants.
It's been three years of debating on who changed the toilet paper roll,
three years of constant reminders to fill the water pitcher and
it's been three years of new organization deemed as hiding.
It's been three years of family holidays and Sunday dinners,
three years of occasional new recipes and then also
three years of Shake N Bake and Velveta.
It's been three years of hugs and kisses,
cuddles, snuggles and more,
and three years of "I love you's" every night and every phone call.
Now, it'll be a future of more hugs and kisses,
even more snuggles and cuddles and
many more years of unconditional love.
Three years has led to the greatest blessing we could ever imagine,
the strongest love that is unbreakable and beautiful,
and a happiness that never ceases to fade but only grow.
Happy Third Anniversary to the most amazing man I could
have ever asked to spend my life with and create a child with.
My love is endless...
